FlightSpan™ Ops Release Notes 4.17.0

The release will occur during your normal daily maintenance window (typically between midnight to 3 am local time).

New Features

  • Pilot proficiency items, such as 3 takeoffs and landings every 90 days, can now be tracked. See the documentation for details. 
  • Lowest Safe Altitudes / Minimum En Route Altitudes can now be added to stored routes and between waypoint pairs, and displayed on both the Map and the Basic Flight Plan / Nav Log on the EFB. See the documentation for instructions.

Enhancements

  • Added an IFR controlled toggle on the Waypoint Detail which gives the ability to further restrict editing certain waypoints
  • Added more account details to the proforma invoice when an invoice is based on a cash receipt or a flight request
  • Added the ability to tag Pax Details, and Payment Loads inherit the tags from linked Pax Details
  • Optimized the comment field on the G1000 Waypoint Export

Bug Fixes

  • On an A-B-A Flight Request, flight time did not update for leg B-A when the destination was updated
  • Departure fuel on a scheduled flight leg was being saved an unnecessary number of times
  • The Deferred Income Summary report duplicated refund values on prepaid deposits
  • Incomplete maintenance events in the past were not referenced on the Scheduling Calendar
  • Aircraft availability showed red errors when an aircraft had no time based maintenance events
  • Waypoint export did not work on large data sets
  • Flight number was improperly set by the EFB when a DFR was reuploaded
  • Potential to fail when opening a scheduled flight when a linked payment load was previously a flight time based load
  • Slow sync with microsoft calendar
  • When charter time was updated on a Payment, it didn’t update on the scheduled non-manifest load
  • When a flight leg had an empty value for all 3 of the fuel fields it couldn’t be saved
  • Airport hover details showed duplicate fuel when there was more than one NOTAM
