DC-3TP

When you tap fuel, all three tanks will open, since they are all permanently installed. Set the desired quantity in each tank.

DA Weight Limit

Since max gross weight is limited by density altitude, first confirm the pressure altitude and temperature at your departure point. Pressure altitude and temperature will be prefilled for the airport, and updates here will also be reflected on the performance tabs.

Density altitude and the takeoff weight limit will be displayed in yellow, with a yellow bar on the envelope indicating the max gross weight for that DA.

Adding Seats and Cargo

Weight added to the Flight Attendant seat will be added to Crew weight, not passenger weight.

If you tap the empty left seat space in the right column, a bench seat with one passenger will be added.

If you tap the empty right seat space in the right column, you will be offered the option of loading passengers or cargo.

If you choose Pax, a bench seat will be added with one passenger.

If you select cargo, the calculator will open. Enter the cargo loaded at that station.

The cargo will be added at that station.

If there are no seats in the left column where the cargo is added, the cargo icon will expand to the left.

Note: the “How much can I load at a given station” feature is not available on the DC-3TP.

PC-6

Aux Tanks

To install the underwing fuel tanks, tap the Install Aux Tank button.

If the underwing cargo pods are already installed, you will first be asked to confirm if you wish to have both installed. If you select No, the tanks will not be installed.

Select the desired tank capacity if more than one size is available.

Then select which flight legs you want the tanks installed on.

Next enter the fuel quantity.

Remove the Aux tanks by tapping the Aux Tanks button, then the RMV button.

Confirm on which legs you wish them to be removed.

Cargo Pods

To install the underwing pods, tap the Install Pods button.

When installing the pods, if the Aux tanks are already installed, you will first be asked to confirm if you wish to have both installed. If you select No, the pods will not be installed.

Next select which flight legs you want the pods installed on.

Tap the desired pod bay to enter the cargo load. Load cargo pods front to back to remain in the pod center of gravity limits. Cargo will be added to both pods if the pods are linked.

Click Unlink Pods to load the pods separately.

Center of gravity for each pod is displayed in the small envelope next to the pods.

If a pod CG is out of limits, it will turn red, and if there is a left to right imbalance of greater than 25 kilograms, both CGs will turn red and an “Imbalance” note will appear.

Tap the Remove Pods button to remove the pods.

Then confirm on which legs you wish them to be removed.
