FlightSpan™ EFB Release Notes 10.15.0

FlightSpan 10.15.0 includes a number of enhancements, a bug fix, and one new aircraft model.

Enhancements

In the route planning interface, an empty block now indicates where a new or reordered waypoint will go when editing the route

Documents uploaded to FSO prior to uploading the DFR are now attached to the scheduled flight (this can be used at the beginning of the flight day, to upload flight plans etc. to document proof of pre-flight planning)

Optimized the waypoint search on the route selector page to improve speed
To avoid battery drain, Location Services are no longer active when FlightSpan is running in the background (except during an active flight)
Crew names have been added to the header of the Basic Flight Plan / Nav Log
The Basic Flight Plan / Nav Log can now be uploaded with the DFR using the Company EFB Preference “Print Basic Flight Plan / NavLog with DFR?”
Checklist automation can now be disabled (this can be particularly useful in a training environment where the flight profile may repeatedly trigger climb, cruise, and descent checklists)
Checklists on the Map tab have been moved slightly down to avoid covering ATD and ETE
The DFR flight number format can now be customized. See the documentation for details.
The World Magnetic Model for calculating magnetic variation has been updated
“Request WX for” Quick Text messages are now in route order for your flight
v2 message format changed to accommodate pilot names with commas
Flap Adjustments for Takeoff and Landing performance added for the CJ3
Stretcher layout adjusted on CJ3
Stretcher layout adjusted on Kodiak for one user

On the large CG graph, for certain aircraft types, after a leg was complete and actual fuel entered, the landing weight CG was sometimes displayed in an erroneous position.
