FlightSpan 9.1.3 introduces the use of Alternates to the FlightSpan™EFB.
This release also contains several other enhancements and bug fixes.
New Feature:
- Alternate Airports
- This feature allows pilots to designate an alternate airport for any leg of your flight in the EFB. Please see full documentation here.
Enhancements:
- If your organization operates both fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft, the last operation information on Runway Charts will now always show the last operation for the current category of aircraft. If the most recent operation at an airport was in the opposite category of aircraft, then two last operation banners will show, one for each category. For example, if you’re flying a fixed wing aircraft to a runway, and the last operation there by your org was in a rotor wing aircraft, you will be given information for both categories. If the last operation at a given runway was in the category of aircraft currently being used in the EFB, then you’ll only get a single last operation banner (i.e. no change from current functionality).
- New aircraft type: C172-AP (Air Plains 180HP STC)
- Added Block Times to Journey Log
- App revision date added to Settings
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed scrolling issue on Removable Equipment list
- Fixed Operational Flight Plan / Journey Log crashing when operating at water runways
- Fixed issue with wind on Nav Tab being carried to new flights
